I haven't blogged since September???!! GET A LOAD OF ME! ;)

Utterly disgraceful!! So much has happened between September and now, and I haven't told you guys about it!

Where to start? Lets' just do a big ol' breakdown timeline of everything you have missed (mahoosive post warning!):

OCTOBER

'Under the Cosplay'

I finished filming for my documentary 'Under the Cosplay', along with meeting some absolutely wonderful and inspiring people! Here are a few photos :)

The Gorgeous Renee

The Lovely Alex

And the Wonderful Super Maians!

('Under the Cosplay' is still in its post-production stage, and will be released in October, with a teaser trailer in May just in time for MCM!)

What else did I get up too, oooohhhh.....

Started my brand new job as a Video Producer at the RSPCA!

Here's me getting ready to film at the Animal Hero Awards 2015!

You can watch the finished film here!

Visited MCM Comic Con in London

And met up with the entire cast of 'Under the Cosplay'

I even made a video of my day, which you should totally check out below!

NOVEMBER

The animation bug started and I began planning my first animation based on 'The 12 Days of RSPCA' for a Christmas Special

Made up of 460 individual elements, compiled together into 94 separate compositions, to create 44 animated animals inside 12 illustrated backgrounds! Using Illustrator and After Effects

DECEMBER

'12 Days of RSPCA' is all finished and released in time for Christmas (fancy a watch?)

'Foto Friday!'

Here's a breakdown of all my favourite 'Foto Fridays' from 2015! Watch out for it making it's re-appearance on my Facebook page  from the 18th March!

That's about it for 2015 folks!

Check back soon for news on everything I've got up to since the start of 2016, including ANOTHER hand drawn animation for the RSPCA on their Microchipping Campaign! (... it has scary owls and floaty hearts in!)

Light Painting

So as you may know, I've recently been getting really into my long exposure photography.

First it was stars, now i'm trying my hand at some light painting. If you are new to this style, it basically consists of placing a light source in front of your camera at night and setting a long exposure to capture its light trail.

Here's my first attempt, the exposure time was set to 7 seconds, with an ISO of 800, on a Tokina 11-16mm lens 2.8 lens.

My next step is incorporating this technique into the moving image, watch this space!

The day Poppy felt photogenic!

One evening a few weeks ago I was playing with my Canon 50 mm 1.4 lens, which is fantastic for portrait photos!

So Poppy decided to step in to help me try it out :)

I've been playing with my Canon 100mm EF lens this evening, and got some lovely dreamy shots around the garden.
